Lotus Plaza Tonight @ 529

Locket Pundt's Lotus Plaza released an awesome atmospheric solo album early this year called The Floodlight Collective, recorded in between his work with Deerhunter including a double album, an EP, and a number of world tours. Needless to say he is a force to reckon with.

For tonight's show at the 529 he's assembled an all-star lineup with members from various Atlanta groups (Balkans, Abby Go Go, The Spooks). We've been rehearsing for long hours all week at the legendary Notown studio in Marietta and the extra practice has paid off. This show is going to take everyone by surprise, with a setlist full of all-new songs -- including one from his newest project Nice Weekend, sung by his girlfriend Shayda.
